Hi all! :D
I know what the standard power of these cars is etc but does anyone know what the power drop is on a standard UK car without the second turbo online?
Ie : goes from 237bhp to what (195bhp??)
What do you recon?
dont know but im in the same boat
LOL - just read your sig! Don\'t want to divert from the origonal question but, G@ndy, do you know why your second isint playing ball?
The fun factor with no 2nd turbo must be zero lol.
I dont know what the figures are, all I know is I wouldn\'t even drive it if 2nd turbo wasn\'t coming online. I wouldn\'t wanna risk being burnt up by Fords, vauxhalls etc.
Sort it out guys!
im still not sure why its not working. The pack came off when i had it rebuilt and they looked alright, but ever since going back i have only manage 0.4 bar anything past 5000 rpm, the last time it went to the garage, they changed my catalyst for a straight thru pipe, as a collapsed cat is sometimes known to cause it, but unfortuantelt still the same, then it was a case of stripping everything and checking stuff, but there is so many things with the twins they only got half way, before time ran out, so fingers crossed i will be able to get it booked in again to have it sorted, but it still could be toasted turbo\'s, fingers crossed its not :flamed
Non sequential is loads more fun :D and you have a lot less stuff to go wrong :3gears-lh its always an option...
How different is it with the non-sequential tubbies?
Im told its the pre-cat in mine which is causing it - but the first tubbie spools up fine and boosts very well (80 on commander)
Has anyone been on the rollers with just 1 working? Or at least - what power are they making before the transition?
My UK FD made 173bhp with a boost pattern of 5-3-4 :(
I\'ve got the RR dyno printout somewhere.
it\'s weird though as some days it feels quick others really gutless. On a good day my mate couldn\'t get past me in his Evo 8 (260bhp) until I backed off at 100mph.
Really want to get mine sorted but finances are messud up big time right now. :(
