Title: Side repeaters, are they needed for the MOT?
Post by: TonyBlair on October 01, 2005, 12:00:02 PM
Like the title says really.

The reason I ask is because I\'ve got myself some carbon fibre front wings (fenders) and they don\'t have the slots for the side repeaters, so I\'m wondering whether I can get away with not cutting the slots for the side repeaters.

Cheers
Jon

I am not 100% sure, but I do not think you need the side repeaters just the main indicators front and rear. hope it helps a little. look forward to seeing the CF sides, bet that will look smart. :D

Thanks buddy. According to some websites I viewed it does seem the case that you don\'t need the side repeaters. I\'m glad if that is the case because I\'m reluctant to start cutting into the wings - I\'m scared I\'ll mess them up

The wings should look nice when they\'re on. However since my car is silver it\'ll look a bit like a patch-work quilt. I need to start saving for the CF doors, then at least both sides of the car will be in CF.

Cheers

My FD has no side repeaters mate. Went through MOT with no problems.
