Post by: dubber91 on September 29, 2005, 06:26:41 PM
got a 13b fitted into my beetle.....got all the wiring done, and most of it sorted.
Started it, and its smokey.....pretty smokey.
Funny thing was it was fine when it was running a while back.
What could it be?
second off, whatg radiator size should i use? Its gettin VERY hot....
How can i check the timing isnt too far out causing the overheating?

Sounds to me as if you would be best not running it until Geff can have a look and give you some advice. Good Luck sounds an interesting project. :wave

As the others have said, if you are very near a specialist then get it there asap before any damage is done, especially if its running very hot.

Welcome to the club BTW,
