Title: Fitting Greddy Type RS BOV
Post by: D3S on September 27, 2005, 08:46:31 PM
Fitting a Type RS bov is it the same as fitting any other BOV? because from the instructions it looks like the standard BOV\'s are all removed this cannot be the case? as i have done this and now i hardly get any boost lol I saw a thread on the HKS ssqv and that shows the the BOV (oe) towards the back of the engine staying put and the one near the front goes, is that the case?

Cheers

Gavin

Hello Gavin,
The second one towards the rear does stay put mate, and only the front one is removed, i think they are pretty straight froward the small sensing hose goes to (top picture) and the larger hose that goes into the bov goes here (second picture) althought i did have some problems with mine as the filters really got in the way, so mine is backwards but i hope you get the idea.
 Regards Andy

yeap thats what i have done, my filters are in the way to, but it sits in there now...so does the hose from the top of your inlet manifold go into your BOV?

Thing is i connected it all up whenout loads of boost :) then its gone all pete tong again seems to be leaking somewhere and just getting 0.5 bar boost damn thing hehe
