Anyone fitted any of thes in their FD. It seems Recaro do not make subframes for the Fd, so i can only assume people use Universal frames. How do these go in, any good are they easy to fit or a nightmare?

I\'ve got Recaros in mine (came already fitted), I can imagine they must have been a nightmare to fit because they don\'t actually fit in the car properly! You have to close the door firmly because the edge of the seat presses against the door when closed, they\'re too wide. It\'s only by a few mm, not enough to actually deform the seat, but enough to mean you need to put your seatbelt on before you close the door, or it\'s a right pain to get to.

Jay,

I have Recaro SPG\'s fitted to mine,what you\'ll need is the FD3S super low seat runner,these have a slide function to allow you adjust the seat forwards and back.The frame is designed for side mounted seats ofcourse.

Very easy to fit,just bolts to the existing holes,then you just bolt the Recaro seat to this,it also has different slots to allow you adjust the angle of the seat to your liking.

Ross @ Dragon got me mine,they were 150 quid each.

Mine is exactly the same, it already had them in it too.
