Title: Boost Problem Fixed !!
Post by: rxangus on August 19, 2003, 08:11:31 AM
Hi All,

As posted some time ago I have had low boost on my 96 RB since I bought it from Newera in early June. Boost pattern was approx 7-6-3

Took the car to WGT last Friday (750 mile round trip!) and Pip found that the cat was totalled so insufficient back pressure. He offered me the choice of an aftermarket cat or straight pipe so I went with the latter as he said if I went for a cat I would also need a replacement ECU to pass the emissions test next year.

Anyway the good news is that the car is now behaving as it should. The accleration is awesome and I\'m very happy!

Cheers

Angus
