Thank you. It\'s difficult to know where to start on this forum. There doesn\'t seem to be anywhere to post a \'hello\' other than in an existing thread. Might be nice to have a space for newbies to say hello. Just a suggestion!

Those images are the new re-painted cover. That bright orange fire with the skull is under the new paint job!
I will make a set of new photos today. It seems alot of people think the flames are "Not realy Painted on the Car".

woah!!! nice job. must have cost u a bomb to get done. Very nice thou, esp like the little touches on the hood dampers. also love the flames on the engine cover

I didnt think it was for real when I first saw it, but there are some great pics on the RX8-web site of a meet they had at the weekend. It is real! Looks great and very individual.

Yeah... I got alot of that from websites. I guess it is easy to think that photoshop has done all the work. I used photoshop to blur the background and showcase the flames. Anyway... I have finally updated my profile. You can actually see the car in paint!

Thanks for the kind words on the paint. It was a very hard choice to go ahead and do this... but I am happy with it!

No Ian, My good friend John of Wicked Paint did the job. We planned to do it a bit differently, but as the paint hits the car it takes over the final outcome.

i was there and the paint is real...one of the best paint jobs i have ever seen....the mica still comes out from behind the flames and makes them glisten!
