Anyone know of any breakers going at the moment? could do with some odds and sods on the cheap in true FC owner style :p

mate it has the exhaust its gonna be a right PITA to take off though, cos the car is kinda held up on some old tyres and the bolts are rusted to hell. still if you can cut them off i suppose it would be worth it? the exhaust isnt rusted tho and looks newish although there is a slight dent in the passenger tailpipe.
I bought the pass. door and some side strips and the side skirts.. I forgot the bleedin arch liner tho i took off (as well as some of my skin doing it!) think i will need that at one point! Anyway i paid 30 quid but he wanted 50 for it first, told him there was no way i had travelled an hour or so to get a door that has been banged to hell and has no glass or handle etc etc. the engine is still in the car and most of the interior is there its all soggy and mank tho. its had a front ender looks like its been hit into the back of a lorry cos the front end is much lower / flattened at the top, and the extra front splitter is missing, as are the standard rims. It has one rear light that has survived the other side is cracked, and the back window still is in one piece. the front screen is dead. the dash is mostly there. Thats all i can remember at the minute, Oh yeh its the same colour as bretts motor.

I used to live in Cheltenham then, and they had the best scrap yard! I miss it to bits these days :( :(
Plus with all of this health and safety stuff, it\'s not fun like it used to be, when cars were pilled up three deep! :rollin
Peeps used to scrap cars just because it needed new brake shoes or something silly - the fact they\'d just paid out for new other stuff elsewhere (pre MOT I suspect AND often exhausts) never seemed to enter their decision - totally mad :(
Mind you we also built the Westfield Sei on lots of 2nd hand parts - that was always fun. Bits chosen to fashion to whatever you want, from whatever source car!

when Sadgoth took the exhaust off that white car i rang him and he said that he would let me have first dibs when he was done with it! Besides STU, all you need to really take with you is a power inverter a really long extension lead and a metal Grinder!! good luck with the down pipe though!

right lads imagine that pug 206 add where that indian kid gets the elephant to sit on the bonnet? well this one has been jumped on by the same elephant. so the wings and pods dont really exist anymore.. but the engine is in there but you will have to rebuild it! i did notice a RE WorX sticker in the engine bay, but that could mean anything!
The exhaust looks pretty standard (diameter piping) except from the tail pipes. which i couldnt work out myself if they have been spot welded on or sommat. The car you see above is the one i took the door off it is located in DAventry.
which one are you lot on about sheffield????? thats just down the road from me!
there arnt any goodies and the most usefull bits left are LSD / AXLE, calipers, exhaust which is in pretty good condition actually, and various other odds and ends.
May sound daft but is there a network or something like that for Brakers? seems if they get somthing a bit rare like a T2 in they have no means of telling the world? it would just be by word?
They must sign up to some thing like Find a part?? seems daft if they hope the local Mind readers have the same car that needs bits?

it looks we have possible suspects in
1 - daventry
2 - sheffield
3 - wakefield
we just need more details and piccies - and probably a list of what every one needs
i think MRC should buy the car - break the spares for the members to start with and then sell the rest off on here or ebay - could be a nice little earner for them !!

right there is a guy on ebay breaking a 1991 cab ( i think its read )
we assume its in a breakers in wakefield - we just dont know where .. although i do have a number for him ( and i thing grizzly has spoken to him in the past aswell )

He is obviously a breaker if you look at his other items there\'s lots of other cars on.
I am seriously after some rust free doors off a vert, i\'ve spoken to him before about buying them and even got a price but he wont send me any pictures and its a fair trip for me so i\'d be buying blind. That leaves me in a catch 22. i think Grinder is in the same sort of situation.
So if any one could help us out it would be most Appreciated.

it looks like it is on pinderfields road - although not sure of the number
he is breaking a number of other cars awell ( via ebay )
like i said - can anyone go and have a quick peek - it is a breakers yard or what .. and opening times would be superb !!
