I just wanted to clarify this before I remove it...is the only purpose of the rear sublink to support the rear diff?
Damn these cars as well....every bolt ive tried to take off so far has needed like half the can of penetrating oil...stupid things have rusted on hard :eek :confused:
and worst of all, every single bolt is different....like for example whichever clown changed the exhaust system last has used 6 different bolts to do up the 2 rear silencer boxes and midpipe section respectively!!! arghhhhhh!!!!

What exactly are you doing too it? is it changeing bushings or changing the Diff somthing like that?
Becouse you could just drop the rear subframe with diff?

dropping in a kaaz 1.5 way....dropping the subframes an idea...
damn these stupid mazda drain/fil plugs too......made me go to halfords and buy 2 spanners.....not to mention the fluid that came out was well broken down....and blacker than the car!
Dont spose anyone happens to have a spare diff casing for a TII lying around?
stupid drain and fill plugs both rounded off when removing....and the stupid mazda jack snapped while i was trying to raise the car higher to get access to he prop :(

Nothing Ive tried to do on this FC has been staright forward...
try to fit bucket seat and the bloody rails are at an angle.
try to remove exhaust and the bloody bolts are seized on...not to mention some idiot has used 6 different bolts.
try to drain the diff oil and the plug rounds off
try to jack the thing up and the mazda jack gives way dropping the car onto its discs!!! :( and then the stupid car managed to mangle my integra type R jack....
in total, that mazda jack contributed to the destruction of a pair of 2tonne axle stands, an oil drainer can and a tool box...all of which were under the car when it fell... :(
i managed to cut myself 4 times on the same arm while removing the centre section of the exhaust....
oh...and no matyter how hard i bloody try...i cant get rid of the stupid ABS warning light!!!!!! arghhhh!!!! the integra was never this hard to work on! :(

did the down pipe decat on the TII coupe - had to take it to the exhaust place to get them to crack the nuts - that helped apart from i sheared one taking it off and the other stripped the thread as it came off
so had to remove the entire exhaust to get the studs out - so that i could put the decat on

was it welded to the car as well??? thats crazy!!
my mates Honda civic exhaust was welded to the car....and it was mild..not stainless!!!! i took one look under it and told him if he wanted me to change it, it was gonna cost him 2 cutting discs and a new angle grinder!!!
