Title: A december \'94 car with Twin Oil coolers and rear seats???
Post by: RemarkLima on September 12, 2005, 10:20:42 AM
Hi all,

I maybe able to get a good price on a freshly imported RX7... I had a poke around and it\'s a december 94 car but also had rear seats.

Reading around I though only the type R\'s had both oilcoolers? And therefore the R2\'s didn\'t have rear seats???

Bit confused???

Ta,
Mark

Just sounds like a Type R,  Most have rear seats, its only R2\'s, RZ\'s and a couple of others that dont have them.

Thanks for that!

So whats the difference between a R and a R2 again? I know the RZ was the top banana hardcore model...

Getting confused!!!

No its not, I think the R2 has a slightly softer suspension than the "R". Which is probably better for our roads !

OK, well harder suspension is good for me...

...But looks like it\'s had a few mods on it, different computer, boost gauge, oil temp, boost controller and a couple of other electric thingys with flashing lights!

However engine layout looks pretty standard, except I can see a panel filter on the air box which is a little odd...

But it\'ll be at least a month before it\'s near ready so will get the full low down at that point.
