What is the loudest BOV you can get for a Gen3 FD?,I currently have a Blitz SS but its really quiet and pethetic.

I\'ve been told you can get a different trumpet for it to make it louder but i can\'t seem to find one for sale anywhere

I\'ve got a Blitz and thought it was pretty loud generally. I\'ve had HKS in the past and that was quieter. I know there were two types of insert for the HKS to give different sounds, and the Blitz comes with a little filter trumpet to replace the standard one, but I guess that makes it quieter.

The one\'s I\'ve seen that are advertised specifically as being loud are the TurboSmart ones - they seem to shout about the volume as the main selling point on some of their models ! Not sure if they make them for FD\'s though.

BTW, are you sure yours is adjusted right so it activates at the right time ?

the noise will depend a lot on if u are running a induction kit ot not.with induction the noise is alot louder as it also makes a noise back thru the filters as well..mt bailey one is very loud and a good price compared to hks/blitz etc..the hkw is ahorrible chirpy thing imho.i havent found anything to better the bailey in terms of looks/function and value for money

Ummm, you cant beat the sound of a small child being washed down with the sound of a chianti vfvfvfvfvfvfvfvfvf.
I used Bailey on the yellow car, its resonable sound, and does not wash out the sound fron induction or wastegate.
Spoke to Bailey last week, and will be coming to store near you soon ;-)

I\'m not keen on the hks one tho, yours sounds ok but Want one abit louder. :p  :D

I don\'t have stock induction  :chat

I didn\'t get the other trumpet when i got the car so its hard just to get hold of the louder trumpet for the blitz ss.

If you want loud, try a twin trumpet Turbosmart Megasonic BOV, its a totaly mental thing on an FD and as Turbosmart dealers l\'m sure we can find you a bit of discount :) .

p.s. I wish you luck with selling Bailey Gary, in three years we have only really sold them to the Nova brigade !.
