Hi,
im trying to fit new dials in my car, i have taken the dash apart but im not sure where to connect the power leads for the new dials to make them light up when the side and mian lights are turned on. Does anyonw know whre i connect these
Prise up your centre console and take a positive and negative feed from the ashtray illumination light.
Then run the two wires through the radio compartment and into your gauges.
You need both, because the dimmer works through pulsing the negative feed, rather than the positive!

what do u mean by run it through the radio compartment?
also do u need to take the needles off to fit the new faces

Oh my! didn\'t realise that you were replacing your existing gauges! Thought you meant you were adding some!
Radio compartment is the compartment in which the radio is ;)
I\'ve never had my dash apart, so can\'t offer more help.

oh ok mate, never mind i think ill have to get an auto electrician out as it seems quite complicated, cheers anyway
