While I was doing my husbandly duties today and shopping at Tesco\'s, i noticed that they sell car engine oil for 47pence a litre, wouldnt put it in my engine but should be good for sticking in the petrol. What with petrol costing 1.04 a litre in some places you dont want pay another 3.00 quid a litre for premix oil......
bet it doesn\'t smell as good as Castrol R tho\' ;)
That is cheap though !
Used castrol R in my black FD, its like a drug.
If you want cheap oil, I used some for flushing, £2.75 for morrisons, not quite as cheap but if your in there. Please remember its for flushing, not fit for anything else.

Sure it was engine oil? Didnt have sunflower or vegetable any where on the label?
I am lost for words that anybody would even THINK of premixing with normal oil........ITS EITHER THE BIG RRRRRRR OR NOTHING.......its almost like kissing your sister....
i dont have a sister or a brother for that matter so i try the cheap oil....
out of interest, whats so good about castrol R?
it is the best lube you can find for a rotor, have tried all the makes available, even the R substitute.....under racing conditions i swear by it....it leaves your motor filthy and tacky, can foul up your plugs, settles in the tank like no other BUT it makes the rotors spin no no other,it smells better than roses, becomes an additive drug, once youve used it you cannot give it up.....i even put it in my strimmer. :D have been using it since my youth doing motorcross, used it on my 2 stroke road going bikes, then rotors...what can i say im a R junkie :yes
