Title: Car storage.
Post by: Baz on September 01, 2005, 01:31:27 PM
What is the best way to store a perfectly good FD when its not liable to be used for a few months? I don\'t have a garage so it will be in my drive. What do I do about the tyres and the fluids/oil? Do I fill it with fuel etc. Disconnect the battery? I will be able to start the car but I wont be able to drive it although I do have a number of willing "volunteers" :rollin but not one of them has driven anything more powerful than a mondeo :eek . Would you trust your car to them? I think not.
Cheers chaps.

Wouldnt trust anyone to touch ma baby lol.. unless u drive them regular or similar powered cars you`d loose the backend in a second, them BOOOM!!! huge repair bill :yes

Most cars id say fill the tank about a 1/4 with fuel n let her run for 10mins once a week but with the fd then im not to sure lol..

Id say remove the battery cables n leave her b, if the engines ok then it shouldnt rely flood ???
