Sorry for this one guys but what is the correct procedure for disconnecting and reconnecting the car battery.

Ive always taken neg or first then pos.
Putting back I connect neg first then pos.

Is that right ?

Take negative off first then positive. When reconnecting do the positive first and then negative.
