Title: Rotary extreme 1600cc Secondary fuel rail installation
Post by: FD3Typer2 on August 14, 2005, 07:31:44 PM
I am trying to fit this today and have got a few problems.

Clearance of banjo bolt near vacuum hard pipes.

What have other people done about this. I am staying sequential. Seems like I have to remove it and run lines down to the actuators. Is this right?

Injector sealing/fitment.

The 1600cc injectors fit nicely into the rail, but when I put the rail in place, it looks like the bottom of the injector does not seal that well. I removed the old insulator and diffuser from the hole. I read on another thread to cut a bit of fuel line to make a makeshift insulator, but I am not sure where this should go, and it also sounds a bit \'unprofessional\' to me. Is it ok to just fix in place or what?

SARD FPR

I recieved a SARD FPR and pressure gauge in the kit. I don\'t know which are the IN and OUT connections on the unit.

Apart from these niggles it\'s a great kit. Any help is much appreciated. I have also mailed Chuck, and will post the answers to my questions if they are not already answered.

Have a look here (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/danny.fisher310/Information/Fuel_Rail_FPR.doc).

It\'s a 400k word document.

Nice setup Fish.

Are those Bosch injectors? How did you get them to seal in the LIM? The rail looks the same as what I am trying to fit.

On the FPR, the secondary rail feeds into the top , where he gauge is. I guess it\'s the same on other FPRs.
