Title: fitting a BOV
Post by: JUN on August 11, 2005, 09:55:50 AM
Hi, i have got a blitz BOV, and was wondering if anyone could help me, as i usually fitted on myself on previous cars, but i forgot how to fit them on a FD :(
i have two pipings leading out of the BOV.

And just fitted on some apexi filters, that was a bit fiddley though, as one filter had like 3 pipe holes and the other had two, so i just stouck them all in randomly
should that be ok?
as before i had a whole hks racing suction kit, so was kinda different to fit.

anyone help with some advice? :(

Take a look here (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17295) its a fitting guide for an FC, but it may jolt your memory or give you some ideas.

hmm looks very different i guess...
i have two pipes that come from the BOV, any idea on where they surpose to go to?
as i fitted one in the past and that went where the throttle body was.
but does one of the pipings go right we the air intake pipe is?

Can you post a couple of pics, one of where the std BOV is and another of the aftermarket one you have.
