Post by: rx jamie on August 10, 2005, 04:48:43 PM
for all out straight line speed and power which is the best turbo to go for ? im not bothered about drivability i just want to put in some fast quarter times and top speed runs.

t78, gt35 or t88.

GT35R is small, T78 bit bigger, T88 depending which one is large. We run 9.83 on an HKS T51 which is far from massive. But a big turbo isnt half of it though - you need a drivetrain to run quick quarters too...

if you want all out I think you will find the REALLY quick cars use at least a couple of turbo\'s that size.

How fast do you really want to go ? all out is high 6\'s for rotaries at the moment :D

im looking for round the 10\'s 11\'s as im far from well off lol. its a slow on going project at the moment.
still researching at the moment and trying to piece together whats needed.
turbo and ports are the bits im really stuck with at the moment.
my wish list for the rest of the car is pretty much sorted.
i was going to have a compromise for road and strip but theres a child on the way so im concentrating on the strip now.
