Title: Apexi D1 car FMIC
Post by: ReX 7 on August 09, 2005, 10:22:20 PM
The FMIC on the drift car looks amazing and i can see the benefits behind it, cut i can\'t for the life of me find out what happens to the rad, any ideas ? The front scoop for the FMIC would surely cut off all flow to the rad, and the FD\'s don\'t exactly run cool as std.

It looks like a V mount, but sits flatter, with a scoop in the front bumper and vents in the bonnet, just wandering if this would be useable on a road car and what happens to the rad

Just answered my own question really http://www.knightsports.co.jp/catalog/pict/v-mout-003.jpg

Are these reliable on the road ?

I\'ve got one, works fine on the road.

Mine replaces the rad but some (such as the HKS kit) reuse the original radiator, generally the rad is flipped so that it\'s angled the other way and the fans are on the back.
