i need a new clutch for my stock efini
(since two weeks a real bad smell...)

we order by mvp but i dont have any idea what clutch is the best...
common i need ya help

Whatever you buy please do not risk wasting your money on ACT, these use bad quality remanufactured pressure plates and l have known a few people have problems.

Your choice of clutch will come down to the power level your car has and how you want to use your car, i.e. if you want to go Drag racing you could do with an upgrade even on a stock car

Hi Mark,

The mobile guy l used to use is no longer around but l have a big tyre shop near me that can do 4 wheel alignment, l was going to pop in and check they had the spec to align an RX-7

I now have a ACT clutch in my car. I also think Gary Gooding had one before his crazy HKS beast. No part of my clutch is stock or re conn\'d To start with it bares no relation in apperance to the stock version ?????? This clutch was stongly recomended to me and so far it has been out standing.
We will soon see if it is as good as I am making out

So do thousands in the US it\'s a proven reliable clutch.Theres one for sale or part of one in the sales section :cool

Sorry :( only going by personal experience, and the remanufacture thing
( which l had already suspected) was told to me by a man from Exeddy who visited us when he was here from Japan, indeed he also said they had also found ACT repainting their stock units and reselling them as HiPo clutches!

Just telling you what l was told by someone who should now.
