I\'m presuming the grub screw on the top is to allow adjustment of the spring pressure, can anyone confirm this for me? (Ie wound right out would be the least spring pressure)
Thanks chaps :) :cheers
your showing me pics on purpose now arent you ! :(
I\'ll show you mine....
I think so, I tried adjusting mine but there was no difference, mine is probably stuck tho.

Im still struggling with my apexi bov, and how to adjust it. I think if no one tells me any different i might start the engine and let it settle at idle, then slowly adjust the screw thing, until it starts blowing out the whole, then i know thats to far then tweak it back????????????????? Im still confused :rollin
It should not ever blow out of the adjustment hole, the top half of the BOV should be operated vacuum, all the while there is pressure there the BOV will not open. (Well on a TII it is anyway!) Thats why the pressure line is on the UIM AFTER the the throttle butterfly\'s, when they shut the UIM conatains a vacuum which relieves some of the pressure on the BOV, enabling it to open. (I think.)
Yeah sorry Brett, i meant when air starts to come out of the whoossh hole (the outlet) then that must mean that the spring pressure isnt enough as it is being over powered???????????????
mmmmmmmm after reading what i have just put, i think i will leave it for Mr hayward to have a look at.
I see what you mean :) However you wont be able top make it work at idle/rest because the system will be drawing a vacuum rather than being pressurized, so in effect the BOV will be being pulled shut by the airflow. :)
So does anyone know which way you have to turn the grub screw to make the BOV open at a higher pressure?
I would guess clockwise will mean greater pressure to release as that will compress the screw, only an educated guess though.
