Title: Back from WGT\'s :o)
Post by: shaunwil on August 06, 2005, 08:43:05 PM
After a bit of fun in the week trying to get the cold feed sorted under the car to be ready for the dyno at pip\'s. Really happy with the progress so far for the cold feed. Just need to alter the power steering cooling line away from the air filters and i should get even better temps !

Considering it is stock twin with a fmic and no water injection im really happy ! Really happy with almost 260 ft/lb of torque at 3k ! Just comes in so damn quick !

What was the power at the hubs?

Looks good, but it would also be good to know what the power is at the hubs too.

What mods do you have?

Cheers, but that is at the hubs :)

I\'ve found a power steering rad kit on aus ebay for altering the cooling system, just not completely happy with the current heat from the powersteering line ! Didn\'t realise just how hot that system got !

You should be ok with your power steering setup, isn\'t it in the original position ? Would have thought it didn\'t moved with the charge cooler. I had to cut mine into 3 peices and mount it behind the fmic ! The link is :

Tell me about it ! I would say try and have a close look at your powersteering coolant line, damn it gets hot. It has to be in the airflow or will kill the pump !

Can\'t wait to see if i\'ll be able to get in the 12\'s with it (more down to lack of practice :p )

Cheers

Cool - assumed it was fly wheel estimate as the grap says "flywheel power".

Nice numbers, do you have the AFR graph too?

At the top of your graph does say \'flywheel power\' does it do some kind of self adjustment for the hubs ?

Ah right, but the figures are at the wheels. The 4.1 ratio is what gives you final figure. Pip usually only gives you ATW figures !
I think i may invest in some stickier back tyres now :p
