Find a *cough* special *cough* MoT station.

Or try an Italian tune-up (assuming your cat isn\'t toast of course).

Depending on what you have to available for adjustment under the bonnet you may be able to gain a bit.  Best soloution is to put the CAT back on for the MOT, unless you want to start fabricating your own air bypass system into the UIM at idle? (Which I did on my old FC, worked a treat, but then that was an \'88 car so had more leeway with the regs any how.)

don\'t you get better results if the engine revs are belowe 3,000 rpm for the test, ie, so that the air pump is still running.

Talk to Brian Ellis (Rotary Imports), I\'m pretty sure he\'ll be able to sort out your car "legally" in order to pass:).

Good luck with it,

Paul

Hi Neil, I am sure that we would be able to help you get your M.O.T. We do not test ourselves, but have a test station next door. however we do have the ability to test to MOT standards inhouse, & have a great deal of experience in such tasks. We are not too far away from you as we are in Horsham.
If we can help, then ring 01403 734666 (RX-HEAVEN Ltd)

Or take your car to Thames Valley MOT\'s in Reading.
The owner Dave Thompson has got a heavily modded FD RX7,it is running a single turbo with very free exhaust.I think you get the picture.
His number is 01189 560044
Tell him that Carl sent you.
Regards
Carl
