The TD06-25G turbo is the next step below the T78 turbo that is used in the Greddy kits. Mitsu turbos are very reliable and are efficient to very high psi(25+), that is my guess as to why all the time attack cars use them. Also they spool relatively quickly for a non ball bearing turbo. As far as exact spool time, Im not really sure, I dont know of anyone running that kit in the US. My guess as compared to other Mitsu turbos that I have seen is that it would start to make boost around 2K and full boost by 3.5-4K.
i lifted this for ya

Thanks for the info.

Any idea what the achievable BHP would be through that turbo?

Cheers

My car has one, but I can\'t give you any specifics on power yet as it needs the fueling sorting, boost controlling and proper mapping from Carl. Won\'t be done for a month or two.

It really depends on the hotside. Which one is it;

I think Trust/Greddy (assuming that is the maker) do the following TD06\'s;

TD06-SH 18G
TD06-S   20G
TD06-SH 20G
TD06-SH 25G

The most common one is - TD06-25G, this turbo commonly produce circa 400hp. Although I saw a set up running a TD06-25G in Japan running 440 atw.

You\'d find these kits are best for circuit usage and not drag as they do not have a big hotside and spool quickly given that it is non ball bearin technology.

Hope that helps.

:)

From memory, RE use the TD06 in their circuit car with excellent results!

presumably it has a faster spool up than a t78 but slightly more lag than stock twins i think this sounds like the turbo for me as i want the car to have a good range of power all the way through and be very drivable:mmmm

Much more responsive than a T78. You cannot compare it to stock twins however.

If you want a good combination of quick spool up and up to 470 atw then got for the Blitz KKK Porsche turbo\'s. They made some kits for the FD. 1.2 bar at 3700rpm and maintains power throughout. :Thumbsup!
