Title: An Apexi dump valve question?
Post by: G@NDY on July 30, 2005, 08:13:46 PM
I have just fitted an Apexi BOV straight out of the box and its disappointingly quiet, contrary to the reviews ive heard about it! I know that a few of you guys have them and wondered if the black nut on the top is an adjustable noise device that allows you to alter the spring pressure? Fingers crossed i am able to make it louder or it is going in the bin  :flamed
 Regards Andy

I think you can turn the red circle to the biggest hole to get it to loudest.

They are not the loudest but I think thats why a lot of people prefer them.  If you want it to be loud get the blitz one.

I have just been on there website and found instructions in english!! well american :p  The nut at the top is an adjuster which its says loosen so there is no leaks at idle? and it also says that you should get an expert to fit the little fellows? It seemed easy so i did it my self was that an error?? :flamed
