Title: Apexi Power FC question
Post by: TonyBlair on July 30, 2005, 01:45:09 PM
Hi guys,

Wonder if someone can help answer a question I have...

I\'ve recently resolved some serious boost issues I\'ve had with my Rex - an intercooler pipe had a nasty great split in it. Until recently I\'d only been getting an average of 0.4 bar of boost. Now it\'s boosting at 0.8-0.9, so it\'s running properly now.

I was wondering whether it\'s worth my re-setting up my Apexi PFC. When I first set it up - did it myself using the standard install procedure - the car wasn\'t boosting properly. So now I\'m wondering whether I should re-do the set-up procedure on the Apexi PFC now that the car is boosting properly.

Any thoughts anyone?

Cheers
Jon

Isn\'t the initial setup just for setting up minimum revs at tick over ???

If you havent had the car mapped, then I would say yes its worth resetting the PFC and letting it go through the re-learning bit again.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Don\'t suppose anyone can remember the procedure for setting up the Apexi? I think I need to select the "init all data" option on the commander, then start the engine, let it run for 10 minutes, then turn on the A/C and run it for 10 minutes, then turn on the rear de-mister and let it run for a further 10 minutes.

Does that sound about right?

Cheers
