Well here is the new one...
Photos dont really do the paint much justice as its nice and metallic and changes from green to blue in light which doesnt really show. Still not sure what colour the car is when people ask :P
Knightsport quad lamps are a bonus, didnt notice them when I bought it :) It does explain why my lights on the road looked a bit odd though!

Another Nightsport qaud Elite member!
Coooooool..
V. nice, bet your glad to be back on the road.
Paul..
Im very glad to be back on the road.
An interesting point to note is that this car attracts little attention. At least compared to the last one anyway.
In the red one I couldnt go anywhere without people chasing me, shouting comments from the street (nice ones) and waving etc. In this I get a few glances but just pass by mostly.
Im not sure if its because red really did stand out, esp with carbon bonnet, or because my old one was louder and that got peoples attention first at which point they went silly!
Cheers
Lee
Know what you mean mines red and loud and I feel almost
imbaresssed to drive it through slow busy areas did\'nt
expect this kind of reaction.
Interesting to here what you said about driving in the dark
though Iv had the car two weeks and hav\'nt driven in the dark
yet!

Paul Stop driveing yer racer up the high street SIDEWAYS just cos it\'s got them Jap street racer stickers then you won\'t get the attention.
he he.:p :p :p :p :p :p

Ooooooooh I want those lights. Any idea where I can get a set of those from .. anyone?... please... :)
Ok Lee,
If you won\'t sell me your lights atleast tell us what the prformance difference is like between your previous and you current rx7, also the difference is handling. I have driven quite a lot of rx7\'s and find that no two are alike.
rgds
This one is much faster. Reconed to be about 270 at the wheels, probably would have been lucky to have that at the engine on the other one.
I can confirm its faster though just from speeds I can reach at various places. In the wet it shows too, 3rd gear on boost and it just wheelspins. That was a reminder to take it easy.
Havnt really pushed the handling yet after my last car, but the one time it did kick out it seemed easy enough to grab. The front end on this feels a little tighter than my old one, but still taking my time and learning it.
Brakes feel better on this, but I need to pump it once first before it really kicks in. Dont know if this is down to pads, the previous owner wasnt too impressed with them when fitted.
Cheers

Lee, check the events forum. We are going to organise a drift day, which will help you learn where the limits are, and what the car is going to do.
But best of all, it will be in a SAFE en.
Dan
I have already posted there :)
I have been going to the Drift Events for ages now, just my car always broke before them so I havnt done much competing, hence not running in the next D1 round because Silverstone is too big a step.
Im going on Trax with Team Nightspirit - I will let you know what time our session is soon as the plan is to drift round the complex. A couple of the guys last year got standing ovations on track but this year should be better :D
Cheers
Lee
hi lee,
excellent news mate , lovely car.
nice to know that there is another rex with me in west sussex!
regards
Nick
hi lee
glad you finally found a worthy 7:D :D its stunning. What mods are done for 270atw?
rich
Knightsport ECU running at a bar, Racing Beat (I think) exhaust and decat, HKS filters.
The 1 bar of boost is probably the biggest thing, but the engine only has about 3000 miles on it which has got to help :)
I cant confirm the figures, but I have a graph from the old owner showign that.
Cheers
Lee
Did you buy that off Graham by any chance? It looks familiar for some reason, and it was a good price for a rebuilt engine if it\'s the one I\'m thinking of.
Yeah thats the one :)
Cheers
Lee
I saw it at Motormall when it came in, about the same time as my FD and it\'s still about the only one I\'ve seen in that colour.
Cool car :)
Hi Lee, glad you\'re enjoying it mate.
Be interesting to hear how it goes on track, that was one fast b*stard!!
Im resigned to driving a Clio 172 Cup, which is fun, althou not a patch speed wise on the rex.
Enjoy it.

this is one gorgeous arsed car. I\'m running an 92 Celica, hey at least its Japanese, right. I have loved the RX7 since it came out and as soon as I find a decent job I\'m gonna order one with the faired in sidelights from Japland, if it looks as good as yours I know I\'m on to a winner.
