need some help guys, got my fc back, 220hp at the wheels :rollin :rollin , one slight problem, can\'t get the a/f ratio down between 4000-5000rpm, thats when it hits max boost at 0.7bar. need to know if anyone got a english manual for evc 5, need to control the boost to 0.5 bar max the ratio fine if i run that, really need to sort this b4 the 6th, don\'t want to kill another engine oh, it has no cat atm, will putting a center cat back on help lower the boost???
Yes it will. If the boost controller has not been adjusted, ie has no settings applied, replacing the cat will limit the boost creep. Before putting the cat bak on, check if the pill is still in the actuator line. If it is, removing it will lower the boost pressure.

Remove the vaccum line leading from the compressor to the actuator. Inside should be a brass \'pill\' with a hole approx 1.5mm in diameter.
Btw, i assume you are using the std turbo.

are you talking about the rubber vacuum hoses?? i think i put new one on that came with the evc, and yes it\'s a standard turbo.
