wow man that looks awsome.
how much was the rebuild?..did it take long?
Looks stunning mate :cool
Thanks for the comments guys! Luckily the rebuild was done before i bought it. Has only done 300 miles since its been built, hoping to get to 1000 miles soon so that i can go over 4000rpm!
Very nice rx matey,

hi leigh,
i was considering buying an RX7 a while back (feb/march 2004) but after chatting to some of the peeps on here and on some other forums i opted for an S2000 instead - at the time i wasn\'t prepared to buy an RX7 and have it break down on me when it was my daily driver.
at the time i was driving a CTR so the S2000 was also a logical progression for me - haven\'t regretted buying it at all - very fast car, handles brilliantly (in the dry) turns lots of heads, plus it gave me a chance to sample top-down motoring which i\'d heartily recommend :)
still got a soft spot for RX7s though and will definitely buy one one day - preference would be either white or black and as late a model as possible 99/00 - i\'ve had the S2000 since march 2004 and at the moment i plan to keep it until at least march 2007 (although if i manage that it\'ll be the longest i\'ve ever kept a car!).
a tentative plan just now is to maybe buy an RX7 plus a wee daily runaround when i sell the S2000.
cheers,
billy
Nice looking Rex frankie,
dont know if the spoiler-free look was intentional, but i just bought a carbon rear wing for mine so my stock spoiler is open to offers if you want it, plus it is already painted FD black!
Nice one billy, have had my rex for well over 4 years and has been a daily driver ever since. The only time it broke down was 3 months after I got it, overheated front rotor plate cracked down the middle. But after a rebuild from Tim it\'s never missed a beat. Need too treat them well and they just keep on spinning :cool .
Know what you meen about the S2000 the wife has had her\'s just over a year now. We\'ve just started too make a few changes to it. Got some nice 5Zigen alloys and a HKS cat back exhaust. Sounds nice now, was well surprised when switching too 18 inch alloys has\'nt hardened up the ride at all.
Strange dropped my car down at RE-Worx the other day for a few bit\'s too be added. The wife followed my there and I drove hers back, managed too get the Vtec to kick in on the motorway first time I\'ve had the chance in a year.Wow what a kick once you have got it up there the engine just sing\'s and your right about the speed hold the rev\'s up and it flies.
Must admit the S is a well balanced car, almost as good as mine ;) . Won\'t admit it too the wfe though she\'ll think I want too swap.......cheers Leigh.

Thanks Dan but i really like the smooth look but the offer is appreciated. I\'m even going to remove the rear wiper and get the hole filled soon!

got any pix of the alloys on the car? - can\'y remember seeing 5Zigen ones before on an S!
Pictures I aint even got a digi camera, I\'m so behind on modern gadgets will have too invest in one soon. They are the 5Zigen +5 proracers if thats any good cheers Leigh.
@Keiron, rebuild was £2500 + £600 engine removal and refitting. Really quick turnaround time, immaculate workshop and Nigel who owns RX Heaven is really helpful. Highly recommended.

Thanks, i only ask because alot of people say "ohh i wont touch an RX7, they go bang"
But all in all that price is not too bad, and i suppose once it is done it\'s done.
Just doing my research before i go shopping. cheers again :yes
NIce car Frankie ... looks sweet .
I like the no spoiler ... might try that on mine .
very nice car mate! i love black but iam going to get myself a white one :)
