Title: Periferal Port Engine identification
Post by: blown_imp on July 22, 2005, 09:16:50 PM
Hi there i have been offered this engine, it is just a shell with no rotors or eccentric shaft, but it is strange as it has periferal ports.  They look like they have been manufactured this way.

The engine was in a lola that is being restored

Thanks

Its free, so ill get it and have a look.  Mike LMR says that the coating on the inside needs to be in good nick.  What is good nick? does it have to be shiney? Im guessing no scores etc.

cheers
