I take that as not to many mods and not a big BHP increase ? for that price.

its a J reg fd3s no mods except nurspec exhaust, Adrian flux are my brokers, and they went through a company calledhighway insurance.
I think its cheap, a; because of my great age; b; because of my postcode.
It is actually cheaper for me to insure than my first car (cavalier 16v 2l)

perhaps because i\'m a lorry driver. Unlikely, that would probably put it up.
seriously I think it is the post code, I don\'t think wev\'e ever had any crime around here, let alone car theft.

Why don\'t you give adrian flux a call 08700 772233 and ask for a quote. You don\'t have to take it.

I\'ll warn you now Adrian Flux aren\'t competitive on FD\'s this year. They were doing good prices last year though highway but after a few heavy claims they are shying away this year and have put premiums up loads.

Give Egger Lawson in Nottingham a try, speak to Steve. I posted about them the other week. I\'m 24, soon 25, 3 points, £8k fault accident last year, fully comp including 4 trackdays cover, driving other vehicle 3rd party I paid £680 :)

Egger Lawson 0115 9415255 option 4, 2 - Speak to Steve, tell him Gareth from Melton Mowbray sent you.

also try Martin at Hoddesdon Insurance Consultants 0845 121 2212
At 25 £681.85 with agreed value of £7.5k, excess would be £400.

Gareth

yes mate, FD UK car although that didn\'t seem to make a difference either, they weren\'t bothered about imports. Seems that they do take into account a lot of stuff like driver training, club membership, magazine subscriptions etc...

They asked if I knew what BHP my car was putting out at the minute which I declared as very low due to current low boost issue, from what I can tell though the policy covers me up to 300BHP, If I want to mod further I think it goes up 10% which would only be another £75 :)

Hi scud,
Is that better or worse that other quotes? Seems reasonable if really is 320bhp, would personally get it dyno\'d to check as if less than 300bhp might see the premium drop a bit.

Was that speaking to Steve? Did you say you got his number from me off the mazda rotary club?

Cheers

Gareth

Scud - yeah when talking about my 3 points PC30 heasked what that was and told him it is contravention of a pedestrian crossing with a staionary vehicle, happened on way to pick up a chinese takeaway. Somehow ended up talking about chinese food. Said he\'d give me a \'Hot and Sour\' soup discount on my premium :)

I\'ve just got to get my certificate of no claims and current mileage snet back to them now to finalise my policy :)

cheers

Gareth
