Nice pulleys, but they wont give you any extra HP, i looked at these when i was going to dump the airpump, but i went for these ones instead (cheaper)

I\'ve got those ones, albeit the official Greddy ones. They look very nice and do the job - probably not much difference between Greddy or ebay versions either.

Do you have to get rid of the air pump to fit this or are they straight swap for standard fd.. :xconfused

Well the ones i got where underdrive ones to allow you to get rid of the airpump, that first set look like direct replacement ones.
I would just go for the normal alternator/water pump combo, if you start mucking about trying to replace the crankshaft pulley nasty things can happen.

I just had another look at the ebay ad you first posted - they don\'t supply the airpump pulley either. If you get the ones which NikRX7 recommends then it comes with a belt, which can be a hassle to find the right length from what I hear.

Quite amusing that they claim a 20-25 hp gain! You may get a small improvement, mainly from not having an airpump, but I\'ve yet to see any hard evidence of what the actual gains are.

Very interested in getting these, but how hard is it to remove the air pump, any disadvantages??

It\'s not hard, although you may have trouble passing an MoT on the emissions.

But if the air pump isn\'t on your car, then it can\'t wear out - I believe a new one\'s about 400 sheets or so...
