I must have a word with this guy,
I bought an RX3 off him a few years back and allways said for him to give me 1st refusal on this one too.
The car is pretty good for the age.
I think I will have a quiet word with him to see if I can do a deal.

That would be worth $20K +++ in New Zealand. A non-monkey\'ed RX3 10a coupe is a rare beast indeed...!

spooky I just looked this up on ebay to see what it went for ... are you still in touch with the seller ? i presume it was you bidding ? (the BMW in the feedback hints that it is :D )

I have not done a deal outside of Ebay while the auction was on.
Just to reassure you.
I do know that the guy wants proper money for the car and would not let it go for nowt.But that should be apparent from the ebay auction.

Now that the auction has closed I have emailed him asking how much he wants but I get no reply...something funny going on here...

If I find out hes sold it to someone else I will not be happy :spank

I don\'t think there is anything funny going with the guy,it is just that you did not bid enough for the car and reach the reserve.
I have known the guy for a long time and have even bought a car from him in the past.
He is straight.

Thanks Jase. I visit the retro rides site a bit but don\'t usually login so didn\'t get your pm till now.

I\'m trying to get an old schooler over here rather than import at the moment but thanks for offering to help. Will let you know how I get on, though as you can see not very good at the moment :guinness

Yes agreed to buy it at the weekend. Spent 3 hours chatting about Mazdas with the previous owner! Will be sending off my mazdarotaryclub joining fee soon as. Ness and I are planning on settling here so this car will remain in the UK for the forseeable future.

Can\'t wait for the next event! :D
