Title: Apexi problems
Post by: dturpin on July 15, 2005, 04:11:04 PM
I have just got my Apexi Power FC and commander for my FD, and have tried to put it in.  When I was doing the idle set up like it says in the instructions about leaving it for 10 min, then put the rear dimister on leave for 10 min, then the air con and leave for 10 min again.  While I was doing this the idle was irratic but seemed to settle down, but the car would just stall.  And I don\'t know if this is correct.
Can anyone offer me some help please.

You will hear the car\'s idle rise and fall several times during this inital operation on a stock car ?, but l have never known one to actualy cut out.

Did you have a very slow tick over before you put the PFC one as this would cause it.

If you have conserns put your stock ECU back in and check the cars running OK with this fitted, before exploreing anything else.

You should contact the place of purchase! Not just anyone. Nothing against ReWorx, but they might not havent made money on your purchase, so why should they support it!

I didn\'t have a very low idle before, it was never a very stable idle would wonder up and down  a bit by a few 100 revs.
