Title: Water Wetter - seals and tips OK?
Post by: zevans on July 13, 2005, 02:19:53 PM
We were talking about this at Mascrat - Water Wetter seems good stuff so if I had a boinger I wouldn\'tr be asking, I\'d just do it.

So what about in a rotary? Won\'t kill the water seals will it?

Only yesterday I was looking at a bottle of this and wondering if it was any good.

Remember Si saying on a post that he used it in his ol scoob in the daze! - just found it here (but it doesnt answer your question - sorry! )

that thread was about me using gary\'s royal purple equeivilent in me FD though & well still going strong not like the coolant is actually going near the fragile rotary bits & bobs so if im daring to pretend i no technical stuff cant see it being any more risky which it aint at all that using on a boinger. if it makes coolant better than it\'s a winner in my book

I think I might add this to my pre-Isle of Man setup then...

new drivetrain lube, a coolant change with WW in the new coolant, and a bit less toe-in. It\'ll be like a new car!
