Title: Rear roll bar bushings?
Post by: Welsh Dan on July 06, 2005, 05:16:06 PM
Hi.
I went for a pre-mot test today, and was advised that the rear roll bar bushings needed replacing. Not a problem in itself I wouldn\'t have thought, except that its an uprated roll bar thats been fitted (CMR?). Looking at the bushings, the guy said that it looked like whoever had fitted them had just used a bit of rubber hose as a bushing. As the rear roll bar is thicker than the front one, its possible that the factory bushings wouldn\'t fit. Any ideas who CMR are, and if they\'d do new bushings? If not, any other suggestions?
many Thanks
