Title: PFC Question??
Post by: LeeHall on July 03, 2005, 01:11:21 AM
Hi all,

I\'ve just got an apexi pfc from Japan. Its not fitted or mapped yet, will be taking it to Dragon for this when I can get myself organised. The question is that it had a FEED sticker on it, will this make any difference or cause any problems at all? Sorry if its a stupid question, I just know next to nowt about anything lol

Thanks guys

Lee

Its a second hand jap Import one. So I assume it would be best to leave it where it is (in a box in my cupboard), and get it fitted and mapped at the same time. Thanks for the info guys!!!

Was going to take it to Dragon to fit and map, and get de-catted and also maybe have the air pump removed too. Do you guys think this is the safest option??

Slightly off track for a sec, but if you are in Cornwall, why are you going all the way to Dragon? surely thats gotta be 200 miles?
I know they have a good reputation, but so do plenty of other much closer garages, Re:worx in portsmouth is about half the distance, they have their own dyno for tuning, and isnt there a good place in Blandford too?
Just thought i would mention it, might save you a few quid in petrol!

Pointing and laughing... sorry, that is harsh, but very funny.

Lee, you are doing the right thing. Get it fitted and mapped by Ross and the boys at Dragon, that way if there are any problems, they can tell you and deal with them there and then, rather than you trying to figure it out yourself.
