Title: Longlife Exhausts ??
Post by: philthoid on June 30, 2005, 03:07:21 PM
Hi

Need a Y-pipe for TII Cab.

Longlife have quoted me £150 for a custom-made SS piece with a lifetime guarantee. This seems good value to me. I\'ve not heard anything negative about them either.

Anyone here use Longlife ? Or can get a SS Y-pipe cheaper ?

many thanks

Phil

p.s they are at http://www.longlife.co.uk

can\'t see why it won\'t be good enough ... its only a couple of bits of pipe welded together. I wouldn\'t suggest buying anything that involved silencers from them though as rotaries are more than a little hard on them :D

£150 sounds a bit steep for what is basically three flanges and 3 short bits of pipe though

I have a Cat back longlife exhaust (in my avatar).  I think the quality is excellent, and the service was good too.  It\'s my second backbox from them, as I had one on the fiat too.  My mate has one on his M3 also, and they both sound fantastic.

Thanks. Powerflow say they will beat the price and use better stuff. Really to me, as long as it hasn\'t got a hole in it, I\'ll be happy, but its always best to do a little research.
