Title: Top radiator hose size - FC
Post by: grinder on June 28, 2005, 12:49:30 PM
hiya chaps - dont think i have posted in here before  :wiggle

right then - nice simple one to start with

i have a 1990 FC Turbo II and was wondering if anyone know the size of the top rad hose

im gonna stick a water temp gauge in the car eventually but need to know the size of the pipe before i buy a sender unit adaptor

i have seen this on ebay :

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=72205&item=7983622121&rd=1

and looks like it will do the job - just need to know the size to ask him to make one for me - and this looks the easiest way rather than tapping holes in thermostat housing etc...

i did a search and couldnt find anything - so its easier to ask :)

thanks in advance

Stu

I/D of hose is 38mm(1.5in in old money)

Not sure I would use the one on Ebay though, tis only a piece of tube with no beads to stop hose sliding off.
