cheers its not lookin 2 bad, paint work aint brilliant thou could do with a repsray. I think my rx is alot better than the scooby but that scooby aint 2 bad cause its different to others, its the in between style, its a special addition called the uk300, only 300 made but downside is its uk spec so only 217bhp, and my dad keeps it nice and standard, he still thinks he can beat me thou, when ive finally got both turbos working and got a few parts fitted should beat him easy. :evillaugh

What\'s wrong with your turbo\'s??
the first turbo isant working at all, apparantly got a hole in one of the tubes. I took it down 2 ross at dragon to get a servcie and he said that the first turbo wasant working and there was probably a hole in one of the tubes but he would hav 2 hav the car 4 a while to find out which tube, so hopefully im gona take it down there again soon 2 get it sorted, also getting some bits fitted, turbo timer, dump valve, downpipe.
also got a few other bits that need looking at.
bonnet catch not working properly, i think the spring has gone, u need 2 people to open it, one to pull the handle in the car and one 2 lift the bonnet up.
dash lights arent working, so at night cant see speedo.
wheel alignment out, had 2 new front tyres about 2 weeks ago because had really bad wear on the inside edge of the old ones, need to get the wheel alignment done, have taken it to several garages but none can do it cause the front bumper is to low, gona see if ross can do it 4 me, have e-mailed and pm\'ed him on here but he neva replys 2 me
Yeah he is a busy man but the right man for the job. Sounds like you got a few small faults but they shouldn\'t be too much trouble to sort out. You wanna get the turbo\'s working properly though cos it\'s no fun driving without boost!!! You will definately kill your dad\'s scooby. My brother has the last of the classic models with a prodrive upgrade running about 265bhp and i killed him in my rex running 0.8 bar of boost!!!

ive had it since end of January so not long, have wanted one for ages since i was at college and said i would get one once i got a full time job, before i had a 1.4i Peugeot 106 so a bit different, rx is still really quick even with just second turbo but i cant wait to get it fixed, some cars can keep up with me at the mo :( always get boy racers tryin 2 race me, im sure everyone else gets the same.

My car before was an Escort RS turbo series 2 running 215bhp. I had more races in that than i have had in my rex and i\'ve had mine for 5 years now!!

i used to have lots of races when i had a Pulsar GTIR . 308bhp . as some people just see a box on wheels lol . (and some people just didnt see it , lady in jag joined me in the car one sat , write off)

your problem has got me a bit confused here (really not hard too do).
If your first turbo isn;t working then surely the second won;t either. If the first turbo doesn;t reach .7 then the second turbo won;t start spooling.
I\'m concerned for you mate that you\'re running without any turno boost at all. Have you got a boost guage?
If you are runningwith no boost you are in for a very pleasant surprise when you get them up and running mate I can tell you.

That\'s for sure! Be careful when it\'s finaly fixed sweetiewells - the car will be a different beast entirely and could well catch you out!
accordinging to ross at dragon the first one isant working but the second is, i get a boost at 4500 revs which is the second turbo, but no boost before that so i dont know, bit confued now, i did wonder why the second works without the first but i dont know a great deal about the car and how it all works, am learning thou :xconfused
When i had my TT version rx7 the first turbo kickedin at 3000rpm and the second at 4500rpm so its very likely you are only getting the 2nd turbo kicking not the first ?
thats what i thought but above someone said the second shouldnt work without the first, or maybe it is boostng but not as much as it should do, ross said it should just be a tube that has a hole in which is why the first turbo isant working, so shouldnt cost 2 much to fix, jsut gotta find the time to go down there. Other mods im havin done are
