Whats the spec of the car?
Also if it has an Apexi PFC the heat light is turned into knock reading light. Not good.
Get along to a specialist and have him look at it and I suspect tune it.

Mine did this when imported, it needed a new map and the plugs and leads changed.  I couldn\'t drive it on full throttle until this had been done.

Sounds to me like you really need to get it mapped mate, it sounds like it is running lean, and avoid full throttle until you do or you may end up needing a rebuild!!

I knowyou are experiencing problems at the mo, but do you have reg number yet, sorry to hassle you but if you do want to come to the show in july i cant get you in without a pass with your reg number on it and they are hassling me for yours now mate as it the last one....

Cheers

It may be an upgraded fuel pump with no swirl pot syndrome. Brim the tank then give it a go.

If you know your stuff with the commander, have a go ( i wouldn\'t know where to start with mine).  best bet is to take it to WGT for a remap by Pip (£70.00 i think it cost me last time).

With large singles on newly imported cars, you need the best you can get. Any less will increase the risk of severe damage.
