What I want to do is go hacking around some country lanes, in the sunshine, and without the wife (Audio brake). I\'m setting up a savings account for the petrol. The chav\'s wont be impressed with the rex anyway, as \'it aint got no neons or max power stickers muush\'.
If it\'s not raining this afternoon, I\'m thinking of taking my centre section/cat out and refitting them, as the joints are leaking. Plus there\'s a rattle eminating from the cat.

had a new clutch put in by dragon back in feb ... not too happy with it so I took it back for them to take a look and theyh coulnt find anything wrong...
also had the vacuum pipes replaced while I was there... 165 plus vat... and they fixed a boost leak for free... replaced a pip that had split... so it running well at the mo apart from the airbox thingy....
have to meet up one sunny evening...go for a spin....

What exactly is wrong with the clutch? I needed a new one fitted when my engine was rebuilt, and to start with I found it very juddery (great word), so much so that I mentioned it a few weeks later to Tim at RX when it went back. He also said there was nothing wrong. He was right, as after a few hundred miles went by and the clutch bedded in, (as well as my control over a clutch in a car I\'d never driven before improved) it\'s lovely and smooth now. Even the wife has no problem with it.
I seriously thought about doing the vacuum pipes myself on Saturday, but then thought there\'s no point doing all that work when it\'s all running fine anyway!
How you fixed for an evening next week? Any will do. I\'m working lates this week, but finish at 2pm all next week.

Do you guys know the owner of a red J plate, stock looking, FMIC with BBS alloys, loud single exhaust, kept seeing it around Battledown and Hales road? Used to hear it everyday, but never got a wave or nothing...

My Rex has never been further than Evesham in that direction, and I dont remember the red 92 in cheltenham. First Rex I ever saw round this way was a stock black one, quite a few years ago. But I\'m not sure if it was just passing through.
I looked at one for sale here back in Feb last year, that was Red with 18" alloys. An auto though, so not for me. That might have been the one down hales and battledown.
