Title: A whirring and 2 puddles?
Post by: G@NDY on June 04, 2005, 08:23:48 PM
After a bit of a drive today i got home and decided to try the front headlamp washers as i have had the car 7 months and never bothered as thought they were a bit useless!!!! but you never know whats going to happen round these agricultural Lincolnshire roads and the occasion may araise when i desperately need to wash my headlights!:bandit
I pressed the button and a pump whirring noise was heared and nothing happened until i noticed that under the headlamps was a ever increasing puddle of wash fluid either side, i think there must be pipes loose!!
As i didnt try these before the engine was out for its rebuild i dont know if its just a case of reconnecting some pipes, i cant see where the leak is coming from and wondered if anyone knows how to get to the pipes. I thought about taking the lights off, but usually when i do things like that, i am left with spare nuts and bolts and the things never seem to work properly again:rolleyes:
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks guys.

Your going to have to lift your light pods out to gain proper access to the pipes, sorry!

Can\'t you also get to some pipes/resevoir/check valves if you remove the nearside wheelarch liner?
