Hi
Looking for some advice specific to my car. I\'m needing a replacement backbox as mine is fecked.
Its a 1993, type R and my mods are straightthru pipe and its decatted. I am running a PFC. I need an exhaust which isn\'t too loud. My wife has commented that she can hear me coming (whhoooaaa), but this has a lot to do with the dump value/induction kit/music....
..so there you have it. I need an exhaust, but not too loud...something that sounds sweet!!!!
I have noted an interest in this one,

What do you think??Fitting advice ie will it??
Thanks
Marc
Nur Spec is a loud MF!..even with the tailpipe insert...believe me, i had one..and that\'s with a cat.
The Racing Beat rear box(single/duel pipe) seems a good bet...if you\'re after a Phallic pipe girth, it\'s mostly gonna be loud with decat:p

Awaiting further comments, cos there\'s a vast range of catbacks around:)
Anyone else with any advice, please??
Marc
I\'ve gone for a Feed silenced mid pipe and feed sonic back box. It\'s loudish, but not silly loud, on wide open throttle but quiet when pootling around. The mid pipe seems to make a big difference in volume.
Both are at the higher end price-wise but extremely good quality.
The blitz isn\'t exactly noted for it\'s silence :)
I just got Pips @ WGT\'s exhaust fitted, its a twin pipe like stock, but slightly larger and more free flowing, not loud but has a nice sound to it, definitely louder than stock. I love it so far.

I totally agree-I also have the Feed midpipe and does what you said.
When looking at the DP, MP & BB, the type of MP seems a major factor with noise level and i suppose a few extra horses if straight thru!:p

i\'ve got a re-a catback think its a dolphin, i always thought it had a nice burble, it was said i had the only electric powered fd as it was so quiet going up the strip & i\'ve always thought it to be middle of the road on noise
