Post by: msc125 on May 17, 2005, 08:44:29 PM
i noticed a pinched pipe coming from the crv, pic attached. not sure what the pipe\'s function is, and can\'t see where it goes. will it affect performance/ reliability at all?

cheers

I think that one is the charge relief valve.... Or could be the BOV... Same differance really. The pipe is a vacum pipe and will need to be in its natural state to function efficiently.... Move it about or remove it from the valve and re route it

You are better of replacing it, than just moving it. Once it gets warm it will pinch again.

Pinched Pipes are a no-no.  I had one that was pinched and caused the 2nd turbo to not come on-line.  Replace it ASAP.
