Gents, I am contacting you for advice. I am seriously thinking about purchasing an RX7 I have seen one that is it superb nick. Trouble is I have heard that these things can be a pain to own. I know about the fuel consumption issue which I am not too fussed about, but I still need a bit of talking into it. Can any body tell me why I should buy an RX7? Its a twin turbo RB.
Dont buy 1, they are awful cars....
now tell me where this superb nick RX7 for sale is??? ;) :D
not got much to offer int he way of advice but if buying its always best to look for something thats been rebuilt already... otherwise anywhere around the 60k mile area you could be landed with a 3k bill

You should buy one becuase you like cleaning your trousers on a regular basis.
Poorly maintained they are a pain, its like anything else. Getting one with a rebuild is good for piece of mind.
Why get one? Get a passenger ride in one, then you wont ask that question again, and if you do, then its a Maclaren F1 your after... ;)

Good one donato:rollin
That, and driving one is exactly what got me hooked for life since \'96.

Great looks. You will get noticed most places you go.
Performance equal to and sometimes better than cars costing 10 x the amount.
Great rotary community.
Running costs are comparable with similar performace cars but a recenltly rebuilt one with good service history will offer more peace of mind.
Do it, you won\'t regret it.
