Title: Fittin a bucket seat
Post by: jay on May 15, 2005, 07:27:08 PM
Tryin to fit a bucket seat that supposedly has been in an FD before. My problem is that i cant disconnect the runners that were connected to the OE seat to runners that are bolted to the floor, they seem to be one complete set. My bucket seat has runners fitted that would fit the runners that bolt to the floor but im stuck, please help.....

If your popping down over the weekend and can somehow manage to get it into the FD when you come over I can help you out - although I dunno if you have that tardis feature in yours yet lol!!

I woulda thought they just unbolt from the underside of the OE seat? Wheather you have to completely dismantle the OE seats to do this would be anyones guess - I\'d have a look at the service manual PDFs as I\'m sure that\'ll tell ya.
