Title: Bosch 044 Fuel Pump?
Post by: Grizzly on May 10, 2005, 09:52:21 PM
Hello all.

I\'m after a bit of info on the bosch 044.

I have to admit i\'m getting a bit confused, i have been on to our Bosch rep for a price on the 044 (thought it may be a bit cheaper) it seems he has three diffrent models?

The first is 044 that flows 200l/h at 13.5v

The second that flows 325 l/h at 13.5v

Then there is one called a 044s which is silly money.

The realy odd thing is the first and second come up with the same part number? Bosch P/N 0580254044

Chris

I wonder if the difference would be the placement (in or out of tank) of the pumps?  Can\'t think why the same pump woul dhave 2 flow rates other wise.

There is an in tank pump and an external mount pump, external being the higher flow rate. They are approx £180 new for external mount,i have 2 used ones at £100 each.
