I have my kit car insured with Adrian Flux and was heavily dissapointed with their advice and customer care.  However I kept faith and everything got sorted out and I happly insured with them again for another year.

As for the Rex they couldnt give a competitive quote there either.  I eventually got a fantastic quote (after phoning/internetting no fewer than 40 companies and found by far the best was Admiral or their internet otherhalf Elephant

Good Luck, Ricco

(by the way, I dont work for either company!)
