Title: Fixing an aluminium radiator?
Post by: Welsh Dan on May 07, 2005, 07:45:28 PM
Hi.
After an incident with Mr Basil Brush, my 10 day old fluidyne appears to have sprung a leak in the centre of the radiator. Both of the end tanks are fine, but the centre bit looks a bit squashed where the air con radiator hit the fluidyne.

Would I be able to get it fixed, or do I need another new radiator?

Anyone? Or do I need to write the radiator off? :(

Yes it can be repaired, i use to work for SerckMarston radiators so i know it can be done.Although many companys will try to sell you a new rad or recore yours with a cheaper copper and brass core for more profit.
